Department of Statistical Modelling

Graduates of the Department possess knowledge of Monte-Carlo methods, theory of experimental designs, data mining, analysing and forecasting time series, optimization methods, simulation and modelling.

The department organized a series of St.Petersburg Workshop on Simulation, in cooperation with the INFORMS Simulation Society (USA). The latest workshop was held in June 2009.
